Edge Hill Accreditation
All of Respiratory Education UK's academic programmes are validated by Edge Hill University.
Through a collaborative partnership our provision is accredited by Edge Hill University which is in the UK top ten for graduate employment (Times Higher Education 2009) and was described by Alan Johnson MP, former Secretary of State for Education and Skills as “one of the most impressive higher education institutions I have ever seen”.
Edge Hill has been a finalist for four ‘Times Higher Education Awards’ in four years, including University of the Year in 2007, with results in the 2009 National Student Survey (NSS) showing the University as excelling nationally for students’ personal development.
One of the fastest growing Universities in the UK, applications to study at Edge Hill have increased threefold since 2000 and it has been recognised as a Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning by the Higher Education Funding Council.
Ongoing external benchmarking continues to highlight the quality of our provision and suggests that our standards are comparable, if not higher, than other academic programmes nationally. REUK supports approximately 3,000 students annually to undertake respiratory related development and our cohorts consistently achieve results that are better than the national average in terms of 10% of BSc (Hons) students achieving First Class Honours degrees each year.
