Introduction
This module will aim to equip the healthcare professional undertaking study with an opportunity to engage in an individual, investigative inquiry in a work-related subject of their choice, which can have specific relevance to their own clinical practice and which can inform and influence respiratory care

This module is run on a blended learning basis supported by a Briefing Day and allocation of an academic supervisor
Aims
This module will enable healthcare professionals to:

Gain expertise in searching the literature in systematic fashion

Examine important professional and practice issues in the context of changing perspectives in the organisation and delivery of services

Communicate and present information in an analytical, lateral and critical fashion

Use techniques of research, audit or evaluation appropriately and with confidence

A study area negotiated between student, module co-ordinator and academic supervisor

7,000 word Dissertation
